Thoughts Become Things - Choose the Good Ones
One of the biggest factors in being a success at whatever you do - at least in my opinion - is attitude. Throughout the many challenges I've faced in my career, some of the hardest ones to come along have happened in the last six months. But I feel better and more relaxed than ever before. How is this possible? Because of my general attitude and ever-broadening perspective in life.
There are a lot of things I do to keep my attitude positive and upbeat - exercise, daily (sometime hourly) affirmations, meditation, getting massage regularly and doing things I love. But something else I do is to infuse myself with positive messages and ideas from others. This is both from reading mind-expanding books and not reading/watching negative news on TV and the newspaper. It is also by tapping in to a few cool recourses that I'd like to share with you.
The first is an email "reminder" that I've gotten for at least the last seven or eight years. Quirky, fun and positive, the "notes from the Universe" always give me something to think about. You can sign up to get notes like this at www.tut.com and add some variety to your in-box. Here is the one I got today:
Another is a website that believes in changing the world and sparking positive actions called DailyChallenge. They use a Twitter-like site and e-blast system to share ideas with and between their members. Every day I get a "challenge" from someone that will make someone happy, help others or inspire kindness like this:
"Tell a silly joke today... Laughter is the best medicine. Check this article out: http://tinyurl.com/paafbh"
Whatever the case, these are just a couple of tools that work for me. I hope that no matter how things are going in your life and business you'll check them out and turn your "thoughts into things" that you want in your world. Namaste, ya'll!

When "bad" things happen to "good" people, Felicia, it's often because they want to become even better teachers, guides, and helpers to those precious souls who will one day need them to be their rock.
Plus, today's bad is always tomorrow's boon, no matter who you are, no matter what has happened, and no matter how weak the coffee was.

The Universe

I liked your entry overall, but more specifically your comment, "getting massage regularly" really called out to me in a positive way.
Thanks.

What if the world were different? What if the world were a place where everybody was happy? What if the world were a place where everything (animals and plant life included) was at peace? What if we, as humans, lived harmoniously with our surroundings? What if the purpose of life was to be joyful – all the time? The intention of this blog is to provide examples of answers to these questions.
We are all co-creators of the future.
Adhering to this premise, all of the posts that can be found at “Imagine Into Being” are intended to co-create the future. These “imaginings” are wonderful additions to the possibilities of what is to happen in the future. Every thought ever created is part of a grander collection of thoughts. The more times a thought is believed and energy it garners (by way of more and more people believing it), the more likely it is that this thought is going to occur. This is the perfect reason for this blog.
The world is aching for more positive and intentional thoughts to be added to the collection. This blog seeks to do that by contributing a number of intentional and very different possibilities for the world.
