As many of you know I sold my day spa, Balance Day Spa, over three years ago as a part of my quest for a happier, less complicated life. I loved my spa but I felt at times that I was tied to it (or it to me) and that I would never be able to break free from it as long as I was still the owner.


 
My biggest reward to myself after the sale was buying my beach house, Balance by the Sea, in Pine Knoll Shores, NC. It is one of my favorite places on earth to get away, work or just be. I am definitely more "in balance" there!

At any rate, as I am not able to be there all the time, I rent it out quite a bit. It is a great place for couples, families, or just a group of friends wanting to kick back and relax. PKS is a quiet beach that reminds of what the beach used to be like when I was younger...and is centrally located minutes from Emerald Isle, Atlantic Beach, Morehead City and Beaufort, NC.

There are actually a couple of weeks still available for the summer, including the first or second week of June (one is a short week due to a scheduling snafu by moi.)
