One of my good friends and professional colleagues, Laura Allen, has just released her second book, One Year to a Successful Massage Therapy Practice. Although I am still reading it I am here to tell you that it is full of great information for anyone starting a massage or spa business. In it, Laura takes the reader through a virtual year of activities and tasks to successfully market themselves. The book is very accessible, fun to read and easy to use. It is also full of success stories and ideas from other therapists she has interviewed. (Laura's other book, the Plain and Simple Guide to Passing the NCE,  is a great resource for students and those preparing to take the National Certification Exam)
