Getting What You Want By Knowing What You Want
Above my desk there is a card that says "You have to know what you want before you can go after it." That is so true, isn't it? I am constantly reminded of this fact in my own business and in the businesses I work with. Clients will come to me and say, "I want to make more money this year" but have no idea exactly how much more they want or need to make. I'll often ask give them a dollar and say "OK. Now you have made more money. Is that enough?" And of course the reply is NO. But as I explain to them, they must be specific to get get specfifically what they want.
So is there something that you want but haven't declared specifically enough? For example, you want more clients but don't really know how many more you want on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Or perhaps you want to get a new house but don't have a city, neighborhood or design picked out. Without declaring exactly what you want, it will be a lot harder to turn your goals into reality and to draw your desires to you. Are you ready to get what you want?
