The Power of Words

As I said in yesterday's entry, someone made my day with just a few words. Now today as I begin to re-read The Four Agreements by don Miquel Ruiz (www.miguelruiz.com), I am reminded that what we say has immense power in our lives. To quote the book..."The word is a force; it is the power you have to express and communicate, to think, and thereby to create the events in your life."

What did you speak of today? Did you talk about happiness, success, prosperity and good fortune? Or did you tell and re-tell stories of drama, sadness, and failure? My goal for today and the future is to speak to everyone with love and to pass on as much goodness and inspiration through my words as possible. Will I be perfect? Probably not, but in this case, my intention to skip over the issues that bring me down may be the very thing that lifts someone else up. By making your words positive, focused and intentional, you may also just talk yourself right into the life you've been dreaming about!

Mmm....a relaxing spa day!

Hi--Am writing to thank whomever packaged the book for me and sent it out. Was happily surprised to find a bookmark in the book saying exactly what I have been studying. Ho'Oponopono. Take FULL responsiblity for creating what we want in our lives.!Just want to thank whomever sent it to me and didn't really know where to go on here to do this. If it wasn't you..will you please pass it on to who did this act of love and caring for me.
    Thank You-I'm Sorry-Please Forgive Me-I Love You.

I do have to admit that I take pleasure in reading your weblog, even when I don't agree with you. I guess the principal thing is to make people think. One of these days I will get around to beginning a blog. It will most likely be much more for blowing off steam and less helpful than yours is though. Keep writing and I will keep reading through.
